About the Author

Anne C. Repnow lives and gardens near Heidelberg. She initiated and organizes the Snowdrop Days at Luisenpark in Mannheim.

After studying zoology at Oxford, the author initially made a career in scientific publishing.

Only later did she discover gardening for herself and furthered her education with courses on plant use and garden design. At the same time, she visited famous gardens, both in Germany and England, and experimented extensively in her own gardens. Eventually, she gave up her old profession, followed her heart, and made a breakthrough as a garden designer.

Ten years and many happy customers later, she has found the time for this book. It is a declaration of love to a small plant that brings great joy.
